WTK: How to get the '09-'11 front on a '05-'08 Hilux

I've seen these later model fronts on quite a few of the '05-'08 Hilux.


From this look of the '05-'08 Hilux







to this look of the '09-'11 Hilux







What I would like to know is, how was this look achieved ...by just changing the grill? Where can the parts be obtained?

Did it! all is required is a change of grill. The grills are available at bobbys and N&m. They do not come with the rubber lip or the toyota sign. They both have the full chrome ones starting at 700 or 800.

I would have like the original look which is part chrome

Obviously the front grille and bumper are the one from the higher model.
Just change that... Its the only difference

Will work with the old bumper but if you want the complete look you have to change bumper too!

thanks PariaMan. TTTL told me that I wold have to change the headlights, fenders and bumper as well. So I just ask for the 2009 shaped grill for the 2005 Hilux? Or do you know if the actual, original 2009 grill will work directly on the previous model's front?

The Bumper and grill for 09 will work on the 05 without any further mods

Headlight bumper fenders grille would have to be changed if you want the 2012 look
