not necessarily...I have a TX and it's the same as the VX (minus the A/C vents for the 2nd and 3rd row seats)
However, VX is local badging, TX is JDM. If you can get your hands on a TZ model that will have the A/C vents throughout the van.
If it's the 150 series Prado, 2012 and up I believe, the TX has A/C vents in the centre console for the back seat passengers.

The TX has the a/c on the center console. The 7seater TX-L has some more features
