Hi Guys, It's been more than 6 months since I am banging my head trying to find a solution.

I want to replace both o2 sensors on my car. But I don't know what god forsaken model the CS2A is I have went through global, european and american catalogs there seems to be no mention of the car in any oxygen sensor manufacturer's list, not even NAP japan.

If anyone can tell me what substitute sensors are applicable for the CS2A then I will forever be indebted to you.

Part Numbers:

MR578661
MR578294

These original parts are available but they are like 10% the cost of the car itself landed in my country so I need to find a direct fit substitute which can be much cheaper. People say the 4g18/4g13 o2 will work on this the NTK part numbers for 4g18/4g13 are: OZA609-M1 & OZA548-M1

You guys are the last english speaking help I have left in this world.

As I said the closest I have seen is the 4g18 and the 4g13 being covered but I dont want to spend US$250 to order online and find out later there is incompatibility. The original parts are costing me US$1000 landed.

Hey guys some input would be appreciate, a family friend has a mint CK2 for sale doing about 150k well maintained! Considering this for a first vehicle. Would maintenance and parts be difficult as its an older car?

Depends on what engine it carries. Parts for the 92 and the 4g15 carb are much hardet to get. The 4g15 dohc can get parts almost anywhere.

Ck parts are super easy to locate. Both suspension and body. Overall it's a excellent vehicle. Have on going on 13 years.

I'm on a mobile so i can't post pics but it does appear to be the 4g92 engine. Seeing how the Mileage around 150k i shouldn't get serious engine issues for about a year or so hopefully. Thanks for your input. Any other comments welcomed!

For my cvt there is a dipstick for the tranny and it mentions the exact oil spec. Last I remember it was ATF-SP3, basically its a mitsubishi specific oil.

Yep. I use Mitsubishi oil. The Castrol shiftmatic has the same qualities but the prices are almost identical

As far as I know only some foreign models had rear disks. I have never seen a local model with them.

I could be wrong eh.

Hey, have a bit of a problem with my CS3 4g18. Sunday I started it and it was miss firing and smoking a lot, white smoke from engine bay and exhaust and smelling like gas.
I.changed the plugs yesterday and when I started it this morning, I just saw a little smoke coming from the engine bay while revving. Smoke is smelling a bit gassy still.
Car is used almost everyday.
Any ideas what this could be?

Guys, I own a CS2A with fairly high mileage 180k KM's. Now the IAC has been acting up since a year now, the idle is jumpy and takes a while to stabilize most often now the rpm is very very low so much so the car won't even creep in D. So now I am left with the option to either buy a clone or a original. Clone is cheap but looks unreliable, original is too damn expensive. I would much rather look for the IAC for 4g13 and 4g18 and chances are they might have IAC's manufactured for them by oem manufacturers who are at least a few steps or more ahead in quality vs chinese. But the problem is you guys have to tell me if these units are interchangeable, if yes then which part number should I be looking out for?

Where is the sensor located on the transmission for the car not to start when it is a gear on a ck 4g92?
