Anyway padna it ain't have much more than can be squeezed out of the tiny turbo and troublesome gdi turbo engine.
If maintenance is not done regularly and the right gas is not used the gdi will not work as it supposed to. It's all up to you.

not sure if i said gdi turbo or didnt lol but thanks for the feedback. i figured id just upgrade the intercooler and exhaust. spoke to Raybic recently he told me with a td04 and ecu tuning along with regular small mods ( FMIC, exhaust) i can squeeze up to 250 from it tho o_O. rel meticulous maintenance :/

Gdi needs more maintenance than gsr....we maintained ours an had no issues for two years til we sold.

Currently have a gsr 93t and its got potential

I need piston rings for my gsr 4g93t

Or a complete forged piston and rod kit

As well as a strong head gasket to take in 25psi boost

Piston rings: PT auto
Valve seals: Roach's auto
Head gasket: New age auto or xr performance

forged piston n rods would be expensive and u wouldnt get it off the shelf!
u should at least try get to stronger rod bolts (tuner imports or teknet)

what setup u running and why so much boost? what hp is your target?

250-275whp for daily and 450-500 on race fuel. Been watching some 93Ts online running cool 350-400 and some 4-500 and one with 780whp so the engines potential is wide once setup correct

Of course the higher power will be on the big boost but HP will be determined after getting he responsive power I want....meaning I want useable power when I'm cruising and decide to press next to every single Subaru that always running me down while I'm halfway working

Haltech

Gt35r or custom precision turbo

Nope didn't get the parts yet, I'm looking for a stock 93t block to use and I'll build the old block right up properly

Don't wanna replace rings as the pistons are being scorched with oil burns

I'm sure everyone seen me recently on the road, smoking like a chimney lol

I think there is a thread where someone locally is doing a 94 build on a evo7 so thinking of it, if the 94 is workable on 93 then 63 block should work on 93 head

i think the evo build is a 64 block

any 4G9 block would work but compression would be off...
a padna of mine did a 1.8 mivec build n compression was extremely high (93 block with mivec pistons & mivec head) two heads gaskets were used to lower compression

i always wanted to try a mivec head with bigger turbo & stand alone ecu!

Block only no Pistons or rods. A machine shop in P'Town did some sleeves for me.
