1999 galant 4g63 sohc tranmission noise

hey people ,

There is aloud noise coming from starter . had starter repaired and serviced but still no change .. Any suggestions!

Have you checked the flywheel for damage?

What type of loud sound?

The flywheel seems ok but could it be a broken flexplate . Loud grinding knocking sound when starting . engine runs fine when it starts.
