6a13tt front wheel drive?
Which tranny or gearbox, torque steer will be a beyotch.
Which brake upgrades? (if any)

Parts are easy to source, price may be high depending on which part.
It is not easy on gas, especially if you like spirited driving.

Simply sticking a v6 in a vrg is not all it takes for a good upgrade, as asked before look at brakes and how the power is put down. If you are looking for fuel economy, wrong engine.

the front brakes are upgrated to vr4 and its a semi automatic tranny that runs well.
i would not be running the car too hard except :drinking:

how much $ in gas so i should be prepared to spend a month on normal drivin....

do you have one?

Hope it's not the 4g tiptronic tranny cause that won't hold out.

Can't tell you how much gas you'll burn for the month, that depends on mileage, driving style, tuning/how healthy the engine is.

I won't guess because i WILL be wrong, being fwd instead of 4wd it will burn a little less gas.

You will have to use premium too.

I sold mines late last year, only have the vrg gdi now, albeit mines was modded to a bigger single turbo and a lot more boost.

would be a waste of time to buy an aftermarket ECU since all VR4 brains can be re-programmed to be better than any aftermarket ecu made before the stock ECU software was hacked

Okay to clarify the aftermarket Mines VR4 V6TT ECU programming;

* Speed limiter is raised (or rather its set to 510 KPH, I'd be terrified if the car went that fast, haha!)
* Runs slightly leaner above load 140 and engine speed above 5000 RPM
* Generally runs more timing across the board for better economy, also in torque areas, around in the power areas
* Stock Rev limiter raised an extra 350 RPM
* Boost (fuel) cut load limiter raised (so it's upped from roughly the 13-14psi region to roughly 18-19psi region)
* Target engine load increased across the board vs the stock sliding 89%-110%-80% default scale
* Target wastegate duty cycle increased across the board vs the stock 49%-34%-67%-30% scale
* Slightly more tolerant of knocking

So it'll be slightly better on economy for cruising, boost raised to around the 15-16psi region with a fair bit more lower down torque and a reasonable power increase probably in the region of about 310 HP. It's definitely mapped for higher octane fuel, that's for sure and will knock like a beyotch on our super, premium is an absolute minimum.

If anybody interested in trying this out give me a holla
