changing timing chain engine wont start

Postby love my beast » March 9th, 2014, 9:30 am

what was suppose to be a weekend job has gone into a month. changed the timing chain, the four guide, and the tensioner.. and for the love of god my baby wont start.. we've confirmed that fuel is in the lines.. but after that first shot in the injectors when you are heating.... it just tumbles twice and cut off.. we thought the timing was bad... so we triple checked.. the timing is good.. we used *det insecticide* as a igniter.. and she turned over for almost 30 seconds smooth.... which means it cant be the timing... were pulling our hair out can anyone assist...

you'll get little help in here

post in the Trucks and pickup forum

if the engine was working fine before the timing chain change, then definately the problem was caused by something taht was done during the work

insecticide and other starting aids will not work, since u have either a timing or fuel problem

changed my timing part son my KB8 < 10,000km ago and havent had any problem

305-9900 - best sportero mechanic around

where is the vehicle located :?:
