AC compressor seriously robbing engine power!!! TS

My TS (manual) runs reel nice ordinarily , but as I hit the AC and I hear the compressor come on this thing reaaallly lags and I feel a serious drop in power . I still idle fine with the ac on and everything but wen im driving power my "Too Slow" is REEEEL slow

. Im wondering if mayb the battery is too small (ive got the reel small 11 plate stock battery from foreign used company) or is there anything that cud explain this loss of power>?> 2003 model peanut eye.

The AC is Parasitic by nature and nothing much you can do to solve that.
If the situation is noticeably bad, perhaps it is time for a tune up.
When last did you do the following:
swap Plugs
clean Injectors
TB Clean
AC filter Replace
AIr filter replace
change Belts

I was getting a problem similar to that. I have a 2006 Subaru Impreza 2.0R. This car was bought straight from Nel & Massy. When I floor the gas the A/C compressor makes a sound like a blow off valve & a little power is sometimes lost. What should i do? I'm sure that the noise is coming from the A/C compressor........jimbo, how much does an Sti engine and gear box like that go for??? Is that an EJ20 or EJ25?

V7 or V8 JDM STi Powertrain and drivetrain can go for as much as 70K

Check awdmotorsports for a ac compressor. Regarding the sit swap, sell your car and buy a wrx or sti You'll come out cheaper. Take it from me, I'm in the middle of a killer lgt project...but I wanted to be a lil different, so I play harden!!

using a lighter crank pulley reduces power loss from the AC. I have notice this positive benefit first hand when i had my TS.
But if u have a serious compressor problem, it wont help much.
