URGENT HELP-SPEC B SUSPENSION

Postby fayad » December 28th, 2011, 4:13 pm

Fellaz,

bear in mind this is my 1st subaru

i got a 2005 spec B Legacy. Got the Bilstien Setup. i getting sum knocking noise on the rear suspension! sound like bad bushing!

Question 1-Who can u all recommend i go to to check this suspension, so i can know if its the bushings(or more)????

Question 2- Where do i get the correct parts e.g bushing, links etc. I want to make sure and get the correct stuff (seeing that is a Spec B)so when the suspension is unmounted i would have the correct stuff in hand, and avoid having to taxi all over the country looking for the correct parts.I dont know id the spec Band the regular Gt carries the same parts.

Thanks

he can locate most of the parts for you for reasonable prices or can direct you where you can get parts or you can walk with your own parts.
AWD Motorsports has almost anything you looking for...

Is the noise more like a clucking noise that is very evident at low speeds?

If so, it may be due to the inverted shock setup on the suspension and the type of grease subaru used.

A grease up may be all you need.
