Im looking for a set of rims for my legacy that will clear brembo brakes.

Does any one have any know of the exact offset that i will need, cause once the brakes are install i would not be able to drive around the car to try on rims.

Thanks

You sold the FD2 already?

Generally you're looking at +38/+40 thereabout wheel offset as a safe bet for a 17x7.5 wheel...but keep in mind that the pattern of the spokes (how much they curve outward etc) has alot to do with brake clearances, and the width of the wheels.

e.g. v7 2002 OEM STi wheels have a +45 offset, and clear brembos (duh), but many aftermarket +45 wheels seem to be just a hint closer to the brakes.

If I were you, I would send a PM to InDeForest. He's the best to advise on this.

Also, use the fitment guide for an STi on wheeldude.com....as an estimate.

Hopefully, you won't have to roll fenders.

Dave, check wheel wizard in chaguanas. They have a complete volk and advan catalog. The gram lights they carry are surprisingly reasonable. And they will import anything you like.

I find a more European, multi spoke rim looks nice on a legacy. Or an advan RS or something.
