Thank you for all your help. Wish I cud get those tyres today. But will have to wait until they open on Monday. I just hope that they aren't to expensive
yeah man no worries ...... just find something to do today to pass the time , clean car in and out , bathe dog or Netflix =] .... who knows when you get there, they may have another brand just as good and cheaper ... just look for something with good "tread wear" and look out for road noise asap ... also check the manufactured date of the tire , but they have always sold me fresh stuff =] http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/ ... ?techid=11
The first pic is the rim the second pic is of the boxes they came in. Will take some photos of rim and tyre on car tomorrow.god willing everything goes smoothly
Bought the dunlops today. 225 x 45 x 17. Car looks good but does not ride as well as the 15's that the car came with. Not a bad ride but the 15's rode better. Will post pics when I can. Some slight touching when I lock over now and then. I think it's touching on mud guards
that lookin real nice pal =] ... that space full up and the rim is a one of kind , I don't see any hatchbacks with that style... I could see why you might touch when turning especially at rally speed, but a 215/45/17 should be a touchless fit... is that a 17x7 rim?
Tyres have been on car for about two months now. The tyre was rubbing now and then when I lock over all. That has stopped completely without any adverse effects. The tyre does give some road noise also I have gotten used to ride and it's not bad. Over all I am pleased with tyre and rims so far
