Yea fella's. I Love my car but as anyone with one of these stock subaru's knows the vehicle is underpowered with the 1.5 engine. A good driver day to day and is decent on gas.
Is there anything after market that can be done to upgrade the 1.5 EL15 Engine? Not looking for anything racing oriented, but something that will increase acceleration and overall driving experience.
It is currently bone stock. These are specs of engine off the interwebs
Subaru EL engine[edit]
The (Japanese: Subaru EL engine) replaced the EJ15 and is used in the JDM Subaru Impreza 1.5R (series GD, GG, GE, GH) starting with model year 2006. It is based on the EJ engine and shares many components, like the crankshaft from the EJ25. It has DOHC cylinder heads with AVCS variable valve timing on the intake.[4][5]
Displacement: 1,498 cc
bore x stroke: 77.7 x 79 mm
compression ratio: 10.1
maximum horsepower: 110ps (81 kW) @ 6400 RPM

AVCS
Thanks in advance.
