Is there anything such as a JDM bugeye?

Hey guys I need your knowledge on something here,I recently purchased a bugeye impreza but I noticed that the back windscreen has a hole for a wiper,ever heard of it?or does anyone have the wiper assembly for it?on facebook a page i am on mentioned something about a jdm bugeye with rear windshield wipers,appreciate ur info thanks.

well i know then is a jdm and sdm..... sdm speedo go to 180...

Kool mine go to 220 so JDM den?and is there anything extra with these or what makes dem different besides the rear wiper?

JDM speedos go to 180 kmph (all models)

SDM speedos go to 260 kmph (STi) 240 (wrx) 220 (ts)

that's one way to tell between SDM and JDM

If it goes to 220 then more than likely it's a SDM. Unless the cluster was changed

There are other differences between the SDM and JDM models (not sure if it applies to the TS). The JDM Wrx and Sti for example has a more aggressive tune straight from the factory because of the availability of 97 octane in Japan.

- SDM come minus the rear wiper blade

- SOME STi's come with a 180kmph, 220kmph, 260kmph or 280kmph... it depends on the version.. ranging from GC-GD...

- You can tell the version also by the RPM side....

- You can check anywhere in the bamboo for a rear assembly, you MAY or MAY not get it.. as the only or main way someone is selling it, is its if came on a damaged rear window and they just took the assembly.

EASIEST way to check which version it is.... honestly, just check the certified copy, it will specify if its a Singapore or Japanese version...

JDM chassis numbers are much, much shorter than SDM.

Wrong figure for WRX (also 260) on sdm...
