Anyone using bc coilovers.......can give a review on them?

I've been using mine since 2013 and no problems at all, the ride as with all coil overs take some getting use too. Lots of adjustments to play with. Check Aditi Sportsline he is the dealer, I purchased from him.

I have a Cressida with an s14 suspension and a 1jz engine. I think the engine is too heavy for the BC s14 coilovers which is 8/6 spring rate.
10/6 would have been much better. Presently feels like its slamming on rough roads. Tried every adjustment.
Last advice I got from Aditi was to check the preload. I havent had a chance to check it yet.

^^ Increase your spring preload that would help ALOT. Not at much as increasing the rates altogether.

BC on the other are one of the top Coilover brands and would fully recommend! Just Imagine they make Megan Racing Coilovers and supplies parts for other makes of Coilovers that are also at the top of the list. You can't go wrong

Top Brands for street and racing coilovers are KW, Tein and bilstein

Painting with a very broad brush there. Even the "top brands" have lines that are junk and may be worse than the offerings from BC, D2 or Megan.

Need to compare like with like. Not brand with Brand.

Read some good reviews about the swift spring upgrade. I trying to get a cost for the two front springs at 10kgs

i have heard the BC rides like crap from some and heard its also good .... i may jus go teins or cusco had both sets on my previous cars , Cusco ride was a bit stuff but the tein was great .....

the BC is about $8k the teins is about $10 k ...

so i waiting to hear a bit more reviews from u guys ...

bc from my knowledge is on the lower end of the food chain.... tein has entry level (from reviews) are a lot better than d2 and bc...but you can only really benefit from coil overs if they are set up right. i.e. corner balanced...

I owned Tein, BC and HKS Coilovers (so far) and to my personally experience on Trini roads the Teins popped within a year and a half. My daily is on BC for almost 2 years now and showing no signs of massive wear and tear. btw my normal route is from point fortin to pt.lisas everyday.
IMO, The TOP brands are HKS, Fortune 500, KW, Cusco, Tanabe ETC but having an insight into BC i could put it right up there with the best.

PS. BC also makes parts for cusco and other high coil overs. (They also interchange cartridges)

^^ exactly my point. They aren't what they use to be

have tein over a year without issues..and i know people on them a few years and tracking their cars on a regular.

if they are not installed properly, i.e. corner balanced, you shorten the time and lifespan of the coilovers since the weight distributions would be totally off...

I don't think a fair comparison is being drawn here...

'Top Brands' being called are maybe top brands for road racing or moderate track use.

What would be important is the valving of the shock they are using and how closely they matched the bound and rebound to the spring rate provided... either way, BC seems to be a popular option on many forums for multiple brands... but most of those guys might as well be driving on glass compared to our roads.
