SVT Head on a ZM Block

Postby silas » April 22nd, 2008, 3:29 pm

Has anybody heard of a successful transplant of the ZL-VE head (SVT) on a ZM-DE engine?
I know the bore is the same (78mm), but I'm sure it can't be that straightforward. If anyone can offer info it would be greatly appreciated.

AFAIK it should be possible because the engines are basically the same the problem i see is in getting the zl-ve brain to accept the greater volume cause the stroke in the zm is longer maybe an aftermarket ecu like greddy vmanage will correct this i'll still like to see it done wont try it but would love to see it
