Ok Mazda guys,
need some help diagnosing a problem with my ride... just a couple days now sometimes when I pulling off from a stanstill with the tranny in the 'drive' position, its pulling off in third gear just for a few seconds, then it switches back to first and then shifts normally all the way to the overdrive gear. It's NOT doing this in 'sport' mode at all though, so I'm thinking it might be an electrical problems, like a fuse, relay, selector switch or something like that.
Also noteworthy is that the hold light is not coming on when the fault occurs, and the car was scanned as part of a major service a few weeks back... no work was done to the tranny tho (only top up fluid level) and no fault codes appeared either.
Greatly appreciate any help ASAP... don't want the problem getting worse (if its something serious).
