Did you have the ZL-VE?

A ZM would fit fine in there. If its an ECU problem, why not change that? I know someone who changed a ZL (non VE) recently for other reasons he MAY still have the ECU.

the mazda 3 is a svt engine, not vvl, its ok, has nice torque, but i think ur best bet would be a 1.5 zl-ve with tiptronic, i was considering changinf my engine, and it seems like thats the best option, mind u i have both a mazda 3 and the 02 323
