MAZDA 3 cutting off

car just cuts all of sudden when idling at traffic lights or moving slowley in traffic.

anyone experienced this or have any idea what could be causing it?

no check engine light
car starts back normal

failing crank sensor
but check your battery and make the poles are tight

nothing showing up on the scan

Does it cut off only in "D" or also in "N" if you are in traffic?

never tried putting it in "N"

that used to happen to me with my 323, was failing crank sensor as well. would occur on deceleration or stop, not on acceleration.

changed the fuel filter and serviced....

car cut off while reversing and the engine was cold..... hasn't cut off since though

think i will change the sensor anyway
