flashing hold warning on mazda 323 bj 1.6l

new problem cannot make it up an incline even with gas pedal right down.
checked engine at two places both said it was good. checked tranny sensor it was changed but the prob was not fixed. anyone knows a good transmission tech in the east west corridor.

Indicates a problem with your transmission.
Try getting a scan.
Sounds like solenoids in your tranny
what is the colour of your transmission fluid ?
is it smelling burnt?

"it" was changed? there's not only one sensor in there yunno. That mech want beating. Did he even do/recommend a scan before that?

Once the Hold light is blinking, there is an issue with the tranny, not the engine. Granted it may be a sensor or the solenoids but a man can't just start changing at random.

You can check Chaguanas Auto Supplies if you can't find any place in the EW corridor.

I have a similar problem. Hold light comes on and it gets stuck. Cannot afford the down time to trouble shoot so I'm buying a foreign used tranny this morning.
