Noise When Traveling On Bumpy Roads.

Postby omjaco » July 6th, 2009, 8:43 am

Hi,
I am the owner of a 2003 Focus, euro version. Recently i started hearing noises coming from the front suspension. I took it to my mechanic and we changed the upper and lower (center) engine mounts (which were bad) as well as the stabilizer bar rubbers and links-the links were worn. I am happy to report that the noise has eased quite a bit but whenever i am traveling on bumpy roads i still hear the noise which sounds something like this,"Gook gook" We are stumped for answers as to the source on this persistent noise.
The ball joints and steering ends are good.

Can anyone help please?

Hey Guys, I'm back. the problem seems to be the shocks. I will have to change them. (1)I do not want to go to Mc Enereany because of the price. (2) If I can get Motorcraft shocks fine, but if not, what other brand is there that works and is just as good? Any suggestions?
