Where do all get your parts ?

I am thinking about importing a euro spec ford focus and I believe it is the same thing that we have local.. so are there dealers besides the firm for filters, brakes etc ?

I heard about ERM Automotives ? Any experiences ?

You can get nearly all the parts from ebay USA. Some engine parts u have to get from England since the USA and British engines are not the same. Dont buy parts from the firm they overcharge you and you will get it much cheaper landed from USA.

I dunno about buying out of the usa as the cars are euro spec and not the same. Even the engines aren't the same.. body style is different.

I have found sites is the uk that offer all of the parts you need, it's the best bet and likely cheaper than the dealer.

Dude, I have brought part from the USA that are direct fit to the euro focus. The Only parts that dont work are some engine parts. Good thing about fords is that their parts are interchangable, I have used new parts from mustangs that work on the focus. It just that you have to do alot of researchto see what fits. All the US shocks, rubbers, brakes , electrical are standard ford parts. Also most Mazda parts will also fit, its just that u have to research

well i guess you can get interchangeable basic parts like filters and sensors in the usa, but trim... things like body trim, interior pieces and a good few other parts under the hood.. gaskets and other items don't seem to be as easy to get... at least on the Ghia model. Haven't searched for Mk1 parts either tho.

You can check ebay USA for body and suspension parts. For engine parts go to ebay UK

What's the best option when shipping from the UK to Trinidad ? DHL straight here or using one of the import companies like e-zone or websource, etc ?

The US regulars will fit, u may need an auto electrcian to mod the Jack connectors as its not the same as uk. It does work however.

I need the complete system with tracks motors and all cables. I am not sure if the us ones would line up. The electrical is minor though
