Ford ranger 2012 turbo timer?

hey pplz are there any 2012 ranger owners out there who can shed some light on whether this vehicle needs a turbo timer or not? sales ppl say not necessary, some sites say yes :?: :roll:

my manual says NO.
Also i did some reading and from what i gathered it does not.
You may experience an issue if you were doing over 140KM for 30 mins continous and shut engine off immediately.
by the time i get off the highway,drive on the main road for 5mins at abt 50km,then drive on my back street for abt 2 mins at 20km,i'm good..
I have been paying attention to my engine before turning off,and never had an occasion where
it did not get a few mins of casual drive to cool.
again form what i read,apparently it's really bad on the turbo to rev engine and switch off,as the turbo continues to spin with no oil,and i saw a mech do this(thankfully not on my van)

I got a 2012 Ranger and asked the same questions to the Sales Rep and was told its not needed. SO I did some looking around and came upon this website:
