They're (800-STAR) supposed to contact you to continue. It's about $495 a year I think.

Negotiate with management (Mr. Amstrong, Mr. Angard or Mr. Hadeed) to see if you could at least get the free road-side assistance and the services.

Ironically they're out-of-stock of the SX4 - sedan and hatch.

Yeah the prices of all the cars raise by about 15-20k if you take up on the 'free stuff' promo. When i did the math it's cheaper to buy without the offer and pay for your own service.

Liaise with the Parts Manager, Mr. Nigel Pilgrim, but as you said I'm sure they'd be quite expensive.

I think Ignorant Ignis orders from suzukisport.com. I'm sure his prices would be way better. PM him.

Quite true apparently.

Suzuki-sport parts aren't actually made by Suzuki, but rather, by Monster-Sport...for Suzuki, and are sold by Monster almost exclusively.

Lifestyle can't access most of the good Suzuki-sport parts, if any at all. Makes sense, as folks from lifestyle are generally lost when it comes to anything from the Suzuki/MonsterSport line up.

Unkle Ignis would be a best bet unless you choose to go solo, and have access to/are in good communication with folks who ship straight out of Japan (the latter is what I do).

I've bought (and plan to buy) SuzukiSport parts either from Monster directly, or from SWK motorsports (Suzuki-Works-Kuruma).

www.nengun.com is also a good option, but they charge IMMENSE amounts of overheads on quite a bit of their parts (e.g. I saved about 1.8K TTD buying my exhaust from Sunline Racing directly, rather than from Nengun)

don't waste you time buying from nengun ..... way to expensive.
and there freight charges are through the roof.

Mostersport now has a full online store ....... and is offering 10% off all parts for the Christmas with great shipping rates.

so i would advise anyone to take up this offer while it last if u really want something.........

i will be placing an order in a week or so if anyone is interested in saving some freight we can consolidate the order.....

monster filter are real cheap right now ... and i'm getting a real good price for ordering 5 or more  (under 400.00TTD)

This is misleading....Suzuki Motors started in 1937....they've only been making cars for 73 years......Suzuki was only making weaving looms in 1909...if we go by this then Mitsubishi will be celebrating it's 140th birthday next year even though it only started producing cars in 1970

PFX series (300/400/600)?? Or the Powerfilter 2? Or both?

:D

BTW Ignis...did you notice that the pic of the "special edition" Swift Sport looks almost like the JDM Sport "Limited" version with the HIDs? I see it has the UK spec wheels too (17"). I wonder if that's how the car actually is, or whether its another marketing gimmick

drop in powerfilter 2

W3rd. I am still skeptical about the "foam" type filters and their ability to remove fine particles

Maybe you could consider the PFX 300 (paper) drop in filter (my 2c). I asked one of the monstersport guys about it.....they basically recommend blowing out/dusting the air filter out with some compressed air every 5k mileage, and you should be good to go for at least 25000 km. So they say.

Close to $140k. If you decide to forego the 100th anniversary deal, the price comes down to around $128k.

140K for a new Jimny is alot. 128k is a lil better. but dam.

Question: Is all the New SGV's full time 4WD? or are they like the 2005-2007 with selectable range? I didnt check out any yet.

Actually all the 2005/08 4WD model SGVs were full-time all-wheel drive. Only the 2WD model wasn't. Same for the 2009 models.
