I was wondering, BWM in the US ran a promotion where people could trade in their old BMW's at a discount for a new one. And then BMW would certify the old one *replace parts etc and re-sell it as a certified pre-owned.
I'm very interested in buying a BMW i just dont trust the older models that are out there.
what with engine swaps and accident history and whatnot you never know.
I've been hoping to meet someone in BMW that could give me a headsup to someone selling their own that has been certified or at least well maintained.

Anyone could shed light on this?

Well you need to do your own research. That is the best thing over almost anything. Go with your phone and take a million pictures of everything especially the engine and then you could easily just go online, search the same model and year of car you saw and compare what you see with what is online. Also join a BMW owners forum. They are super helpful and you'll know exactly what you're getting yourself into. Good and bad. They don't work for BMW so under no obligation to sell you anything.

When you are looking at the car make sure it has a full service history. Make sure it was bought local. With the cost involved with in buying a showroom BMW in Trinidad, you can be pretty sure the original owner would treat that car better than their children.

The dealership sells cars that are traded in pretty regularly so just keep calling and asking. It's when they have too many they'll put an ad in the paper and then they are all snapped up one time.

The BMW we have here are somewhat comparable to what it have in the UK.
