THANK YOU Banzai, I was getting worried here as I now sign back in when I start to read all that bolt for bolt talk. The 3s is a nice alternative if you want to be boosted. Banzai, Collin went this route. Haven't check him since he did the build though, but saw when he was doing some fabrication.

I can't bare to go through a conversion, thanks to banzai, I eh think my heart could take it. LOL.

I agree with Q and not wanting to put a used 14 year old engine in his car but then again you never know what kinda abuse ANY engine went through when you buy it used.

It all comes down to your pocket, and preference. Check Banzai's guy as they had quite the time together figuring out the stuff. Or I can put you on to Collin as he's closer to you.

You just want OE type suspension or are you looking for something a lil better? Monroe actually makes a pretty good OE replacement. Eddie in Arouca should have them.

My friend bought a rover.
It has a single cam Honda engine d15. Mated to the stock rover transmission and the car pulls excellent.

Guys I need help with my rover 200 B14 swap. Car is running . but the left from strut suspension arm keep braking off every 4 months or so. And I also want to send the vehicle where proper Suspension works can be done. Another problem I am having Is with the brakes. It had an ABS pump which is disconnected now... I put a b14 master cylinder cause the original was leaking and someone recommended it was a straight swap. How ever if I mash a sudden brakes my pedal gets really hard and brakes little after. The only way to get back brakes is to slowly mash the brake pedals. Help tunners I love my rover but its giving me some headaches.

Hmmm which part is that exactly? The steady bar that goes to the front of the car and is attached to the arm with two bolts or the antiroll bar?

Question: Was it cut and lengthened? If so it will ALWAYS break, because it doesn't look original from that pic, wish I had seen it earlier would have gone and take a pic of my own. It takes a lot of jamming as any suspension part does. A machine shop might be able to do a better join but can't guarantee how long it will hold out.

Well the plan is to take it out and take it to a machine shop to do over ( thicker stronger) .... But after that I want to carry the car to someone who can check my suspension and get it as good as it can get. Cause I know at the end of the day its a swap but I am certain that I can get some improvement in my suspension. Thanks for all the help

To answer your question. The bar was bended ( so the man who did the swap told me) after 3 months it broke off. Then I had it welded. Lasted about 4 months and broke again. (Welded again) and now waiting to carry it to a machine shop

You got the bar sorted? Have to get my fuel pump relay to stop acting the fool. Hopefully will be back up and running today.
