Once you not involved in a side-impact crash the Cruze wins moreso for $42k less and generally more features, the Cruze is the better buy.

I got some reviews from a 1.8 cruze owner yesterday and he is saying the fuel economy is a bit dissapointing as well as the power. I was wondering how those tiny 1.6 units would push such a heavy car. We should get the 1.4T instead, the increase in low end torque may help fuel economy alot and give the extra punch needed.
