Hyundai Elantra

Need to know about the Hyundai brand. considering buying a 1997 Elantra, selling at 30,000K, one owner kept in pretty good condition. What's the reputation of this brand? The transmission was recently repaired, is this a problem?

Very Good cars despite what people say about them, i Own one for the past 11 years with the original engine and transmission and i did a engine job for the first time 3 weeks ago all you have to do is change your transmission oil and filter twice a year with castrol + 4 ATF make sure it is +4 and you would not have any transmission problems.
