e.g. MVT, VAT, customs charges

there's a ched on this by inevitablegreyfox i think it is......or greyfox or sumn like that....search for it using his member name
beware, u hav no warranty for jap vehicles when u do this
u also hav to pay an 'engine' tax based on the size of ur engine displacement....anything 1.8 an above is taxed per extra cc i think

i hear its $30.00 or so for 2500 to 2999CC
so that means $75,000 for 2.5L in just MVT tax then to ad whatever the customs charges is and the VAT?

otherwise if its each CC after 1500 then 2.5L MVT is $30.000

either way, with the other charges added on is like you paying the same thing if not more to do this on your own?

where's the savings?
