Importing/registering a vehicle

What's the maximum age the vehicle can be 2004? or 2005? I did a search but zip! Lic. Office zip! Looking for someone who actually imported a vehicle eh!

I was also looking for some info on this as well yesterday.
Is the duty still 35% on 2.0l vehicles
has the cost of registration gone up from the $12000 for same 2.0l and by how much

duty remains same no matter what engine size

its the engine cc tax is what is variable

Use the "read button" and you will see that I searched but did not find what I sought. I never asked about MVT, I asked about max. age for legal importing/registering of a vehicle,whether its 4 or 5 years from YOM!

ok before this escalate, i know the search function is unhelpful for key words and you'd think the amount of times this has been discussed the mods would make a stick some place of fact sheet.

4 years from yom and not first registriation. That was an old loop hole that has since been fixed.
