Men sayin prayers to get storm. Might have to watch that system developing in quadrant 4:2 (from the bottom) just over trinidad. Developing storms might not be able to pass through our shield, but they can 'tunnel' and create a second storm that splits off moving southward. or both might travel northward due to the coriolis effect, wreaking havoc through the caribbean. Depends on how rapidly and powerful the main system grows and feeds it while in our region. At the very least.. we'll get some rain. That main system seems like it's pretty strong to be rippling into our shield space.

Which satellites are you using? Accuweather says the center passed between St Lucia and St Vincent, one casualty from what I've heard in SVG a schoolboy who went outside. From the looks of it St Lucia got the worse of it

That one is less developed compared to Mathew at the same location, plus ocean temps will be down (which hinder development) as Mathew just passed over those areas.

Given that it's unlikely to develop into anything cyclonic (by the time it reaches or longitude) the odds of it moving northward will decrease. Which means we may be in for some rain and flooding over the weekend.

On Satellite imaging, matthew looks like its trying to organize itself into a hurricane on a direct course to jamaica. System looks large and strong. Creating ripples all over venezuela and trini even tho the main system is so far north of us.

NHC is already expecting it to turn into a hurricane and is presently updating florida accordingly
