Okay so I wanna try and get an answer to my long unanswered questions.... I have about 6 koi that I bred from let's say 3 inches to 10' and, being male and female and me creating adequate breeding environments for them multiple times, they've NEVER spawned. Is it true that Chai's does that to the fish so you'd like always have to keep buying from them ? Just my take on it... Anyone else have this problem?

A few yrs ago, i had bought 3 shri-lankan all yellow fantail guppies (2 males & 1 female) and for mths the female will get full and about 2-3 wks after will just get back small....... the process would happen all the time andthe would never make young ones. They sold them for $150 for the 3. I spoke to other people who had purchased them also and they had the same experiences. Comes like the petshops that sell budgies............ they put hong wing coffee with the bird seads and that screws them up. Numerous breeders claim that when they check the nesting boxes, the 3-4 eggs per box never hatch.

Believe it or not that's why i kinda stopped at about 15 kois.... Kinda takes away the passion because I've always enjoyed breeding.... Even some talapia fish I got free from Harry's waterpark breeding and doing justice....but the ones I invested heavily in...no luck :(

I went there already. Not impressed by what he had. The three that I have were acquired to get re-acuainted with keeping discus. What I am looking for now are very good quality fish. Not too impressed with what I have seen in pet shops as well.

Toying with the idea of applying for an import licence and bringing in a few back with me when I travel.
