Yeah it is. I duno if that falls under "defective fittings" or not but I know either way it not supposed to be cracked and on ur car still. My friend's own is cracked and i posted a pic on tuner and they all said it was "illegal" as well.

Got a ticket for unauthorized lights where the officer was referring to my lights as blue. My park lights in my b12 aren't blue so I am planning to face this in court

Check page 2 of this. A guy made a post with part of the act. Take a read and see if anything useful in it for you.

Any body ever get a ticket for "Unauthorised Lights"...I mean fog lights nah..?
Fog lights are actually illegal but they just let them pass through licensing for whatever reason.

But yes there is a charge for Unauthorized Lights and it can be those lights you have by your hood where the water comes out for the windshield. Or those in your rims which look so completely ridiculous ect.

And no C.O.I. is a charge. If you dont have it on you / its expired - then in both cases you are driving without a valid C.O.I. and you will be given a fixed penalty notice.

BTW - there is now an updated list of offences which include the cellular devices offences.
I good I dont have a car until I finished driving tests i wont go on the pbr cause I have to give them plenty money
