That starting 11 (especially midfield and front area) gonna be epic even without the purchase of a CF.....Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Herrera, Mata, De Maria, Rooney

Angel Di Maria: Man Utd spell 'did not go well' as PSG deal confirmed

Angel Di Maria admitted "things did not go well at Manchester United" following a £44.3m move to Paris St-Germain, one season into a five-year deal.
The Argentina winger, 27, suggested that his family were unhappy in the north-west following an attempted break-in at their Cheshire home.
"I'm happy because I know my wife and child will be happy in Paris," he said.
"It wasn't just my decision to leave. If I left it was also because they decided to sell me."
He added: "The three parties agreed. Me, Manchester United and PSG agreed the deal."
Di Maria moved to Old Trafford from Real Madrid in August 2014 for a British record £59.7m.
His relationship with manager Louis van Gaal reportedly became strained in the second half of the season as pelvic and hamstring injuries limited his involvement.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi said: "I'd like to thank him for choosing PSG.
"I know a lot of big clubs were interested because he is a great player.
"He's already won the Champions League with Real; I hope he can do it with us."
Di Maria was man of the match when Real beat city rivals Atletico to lift their 10th European Cup in 2014.

Our team looks good on paper but that's it. Horrible first game. I'm not even sure Rooney would've scored if Walker didn't. But... 3pts.

For a coach who revolutionized attacking football LvG does really confuse me sometimes... I know its the 1st game but that's no excuse... His tactics were poor today... Played Memphis a winger in the #10 role and Mata a #10 on the wing.. That's made no sense to me then taking off Memphis for Harrera made no sense also... If I didn't know any better I'd say he loves to player players out of position. .. Did the same with AdM

He need to sort the team out quick... We have the quality to apply the 4-3-3 system why not do so...

Image

This was my formation and starting 11 ... He said Rojo and Bastian couldn't start bcuz of match fitness so Rojo>Blind an Bastian>Carrick

For me football is more than 3pts.

The back 4 was solid today... The midfield come to life when Bastian came on... Mata was the best player in the 1st half. Hit some good passes... Adnan was average in the #10 role... With his speed and tricks he might have been more effective on the wing .. He was losing the ball way to easy. Memphis was poor today... I could see he chasing that 1st goal but he needs to be focus. .. His goal will come. As for Rooney idk where to start... He was piss poor today... He was killing attack a lot. He was shyte. ..

All in all LvG need to get the team clicking ASAP. .. we need that world class #9 and a CB .

Rooney needs to be benched badly, or to be played from the bench, NOT a starter
