not sure if it was down but around 4pm i found my phone turned off even though the battery had 3 out of 3 bars when i turned it back on

If a laptop is doesn't have 4G built in can it browse the internet through WiFi on a 4G Mobile Hotspot? My laptop is not 3G enabled or 4G enabled, it is just WiFi enabled. Can it connect through WiFi and browse the internet on a 4G Mobile Hotspot?

Yes it can

The Blink/Bmobile hotspot is a device that receives a "4G" WiMax signal and allows up to 4 devices to connect via WiFi

In-fact even if your laptop did have 4G, you wouldn't be able to connect to the Blink/Bmobile service without some special provisioning. So having 4G won't help - you still need the hotspot to route the data via wifi.

I called TSTT and spoke to a female technician and she told me that the reason the Prepaid EDGE is down is because of Digicel

She said Digicel enabled their 3G network today and it "Destroyed" TSTT network wtf
