Rampaul not playing. Roach continues to waste the new ball. smh. Narine take 5 for 19 and yet his team still lost.

 8,000? Gone are the days when 15-20,000 showed up for the 1st day of a test match.

Barath and Brathwaite are as valuable to the West Indian batting lineup as Ricky Ponting is to that of the Australians.

If they don't perform in the second innings (weather permitting) I'm looking forward to seeing all three dropped for the final match.

^ When i now started going to the Oval to watch tests 15,000 on a day wasn't uncommon.
On the real cricket though, Chanders real getting on and showing what is real class though.

shot of the day was by pampers..

Lyon to Sammy, OUT, 52.3 mph, o captain, my captain. What have you done, Darren Sammy? Three men on the leg-side boundary, and he still takes that field on. Shimmies down the track, not quite to the pitch of it, and ends up lofting it straight down Hussey's throat at long-on. He is disgusted with himself, and keeps shaking his head all the way back

4.1

Edwards to Cowan, no run, Sammy is having a horror Test. Drops a sitter at slip. Short of a length, extra bounce, no room, he guides this to Sammy, but he takes the eye off it a split second too early. Where does the captain hide now?

Doh gimme wrong, pal.... I was a stunt cricket supporter, especially when real players used to play......men like:
Brian Lara, Carl Hooper, Junior Murray, Richie Richardson, Jimmy Adams, Roger Harper, Courtney Walsh, Curtly Ambrose, Wavel Hinds…etc,
Even wen dey used to lose real bad....ah backin dem. Cause dem previous fellas was real determined and focus.. Real team effort. Dey used to show encouragement and passion.

But these nowadays players really not serious… Look these scores and try to convince me otherwise.

Only after a Team Beats the Life out of the West Indies, they then feel sorry and let them win one.

To tell yuh d truth it real embrassing! Ah mean, jus look at this thread…..everybody disappointed…

Dem fellas need to make up dey mind to either play or get out..
(eg) watch Bharath…start up good good wen he jus join west indies and now cya even hold d crease for a 10mins.

When me and plenty other X-Supporters start back to see real team effort and real team devotion, we go spare dem som of we time…….until then……please accept my sympathies.

Peace Out!
