Just curious as to how you all deal with persons playing loud music at night? Do you call police or what other options are there?

Since about 930pm can't sleep due to extremely loud music (living along Caroni Savannah Road)... couldn't take it anymore, so I just drove around trying to find the source of noise... it's about 7 or 8 cars parked in the Nagar car park (the open one) with speakers towering about 8 feet high outside the cars, blasting music... they play about 5 seconds of a song, stop for half a minute, then repeat again... intentional or not, it's effin madness

Called police about 3 times now, no help what so ever....

Suggestions?

ema? nope, they would only do tests according to a schedule. so that would mean a continuous situation. police have to be called in if is a public nuisance. but, public nuisance is more of a nuisance for them to respond to. in my experience, they only respond when it seems like a death occurred or going to occur

OP I understand how you feel and I would maybe feel the same way too.

Just wondering how the rules would apply in this case since they are in an unoccupied open space.

In their defense, allow I hate loud music at night, they probably went to the Nagar so as not to disturb anybody except dogs with highly tuned ears.

I agree...if not in an empty open space without no one around where else can you play your music ?

 why was it necessary to state the speed at which you were "cruising"?

Honestly I don't see the need for one vehicle to be so loud (unless you plan on announcing deaths in the neighbourhood) but where else you want them to go Soldado Rock?

I live in a very residential area in Tunapuna but many times I hear parties going on 1-3km away because the wind carries it. I also hear cars racing on the highway and very often I can even hear jet planes taking off in Piarco.
