Police said around 8 p.m. the victim, Burton John, 48, was playing a card game in front of a bar along La Horquette Valley Road, Glencoe, when a man walked up to him and shot him five times.
"No one could figure out why they killed my brother. Everyone finds it strange," he said.
He said his brother never told him about being threatened because, "if he was in trouble, he would not be out liming at all...so we, as a family, are thinking that he may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time."
