iPhone 4s vs Samsung S3 (etc) Opinion/Review

Just trying to get some LOCAL feedback on these devices;

- If anyone has OWNED both devices (iphone 4s & samsung s3) - which one is better overall and why?

- If you have OWNED both devices and found a better device - which one is it?

Basically, i've been looking and reading tons of reviews for both phones. However MOST of those reviews appear to be bias, either towards the Samsung / iPhone.

I currently own a iPhone 4s, and my gf wants to upgrade to a 4s, so i was wondering if I should give her my 4s and what's better out there. So i'd appreciate any feedback / help I can receive from the tuner community.

What do you like about the 4S, just to see what your priorities are when it comes to phones, do you root/jailbreak or keep it stock? Because spec wise it doesn't compare, nor does the 5, so I'm guessing you're after the software?

best bet is to look at the features/specs and see what suits you best OP.

I mean .... the s3 is obviously better than the iphone4s you should be looking at the iPhone 5 if you want to compare it to the galaxy but even spec and processor wise the Samsung is superior so it comes down to the os and what you plan to do with the phone. They're both powerful but the ios has a wee bit too many restrictions for anyone's liking as compared to the openness to the android os.

In order of technical superiority it goes like this

S3/Iphone5 - Not enough info on the I5 to declare a winner, but I think the S3 still comes out on top

most people never realise the full potential of there phones and so the specs do not really matter it all boils down to bragging rights for most buyers, which phone gets you the most pips when you whip it out at every opportunity to pretend ur checking msgs,
easy way to figure out if you are one of these people is to ask yourself a question, do you already know how to root/jailbreak, unlock and mod these phones, even though you do not own one?
if the answer to this is no then you are a poser and so the phone with the most pips which i believe right now is iphone although s3 can brag most powerful so pick either they will both impress noobs that are still rocking the new me2.

OP....I think your real concern should be which is better between iOS or Android...I think iOS is on top currently but according to projections, Android would eventually defeat iOS in terms of the amount of apps available....if you're concern about the specs...the S3 is better than the 4S so I suggest if you don't want to go Android....you wait until the iPhone 5 releases and then make your decision...but according to some people...the S3 would still be on top the iPhone5....so the balls in your court...I hope you make a wise decision
