What may realistically happen if immediately after contracting chikungunya I am
bitten by a mosquito that bit someone with Ebola?
Will I get Ebolgunya / Chikunbola?

MISSION EBOLA
By Miranda La Rose Tuesday, October 28 2014
Chief Medical Officer Dr Colin Furlonge will fly to West Africa, after volunteering to do so, to see first hand how nations afflicted with the Ebola virus are managing the care of patients, and are containing the spread of the disease.
Furlonge is likely to be accompanied by at least one other member of the Ebola Medical Response Team and Ebola Prevention, Information and Response Team (EPIRT), or more, if others volunteer to travel to West Africa.
Liberia, where there have been 2,705 confirmed Ebola deaths, is the nation the team is expected to visit.
Furlonge told Newsday yesterday he is volunteering to go to one of the afflicted West African nations to see “first hand how things are unfolding on the ground, to see what is taking place, to understand it, and to fully comprehend.”
This means, he said, he will have to go into the field to see what is taking place.
The idea to go to the epicentre of the epidemic came to him over the weekend and yesterday he discussed the issue with Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Health Christine Sookram, and Health Minister Dr Fuad Khan.
Khan has agreed with Furlonge’s suggestion in terms of a training programme and suggested a team be assembled to look at Ebola infections from the medical and security points of view.
He confirmed Liberia would be the first nation of choice to visit.
Khan has also suggested president of the Public Service Association Watson Duke, and herbalist who advertises a cure of Ebola, Trevor Sayers, be part of the team. Khan noted that while medical experts have claimed that they have found no cure for the disease it would be practical for Sayers to put his remedy that he advertises as a cure, to the test. “Maybe Sayers is the best person to send to West Africa,” he said seriously.
