Watch for loss of coolant as I think the water pump usually starts weeping around that mileage.
Inspect your brake pads..... Unless you changed them before now
Some fluid could probably do with a change
-transmission
-Diff
-power Steering

I usually change out brake fluid when doing any brake pad replacement

Grease the drive shaft
Inspect knuckle joints, ball joints, tie rods

Can anyone say why the rotors tend to warp?

So I went ahead and acquired some 17" hilux rims.
First thoughts:
Damn those things are heavy....by comparison the 15s are light...very light.
Those 17s were a pain to lift into place on the studs.
If you get a flat....brace your self and your muscles for the workout.

On another note...The brake pads from the 2006 lux are smaller than the pads on the 2.5 2012 model...I honestly thought they were the same but the 2012 model is bigger.

I'd assume because of the high heat working conditions

^^ if the tranny is a A340, with a 1kz bell, it will bolt, most likely u will not have any wiring complications!

If you can get the Bluetooth obd2 scanners to work o it you'll get real time boost readings through torque app.

Know this question was prob asked before, but what is the best oil that you Hilux owners have used??
Currently the firm uses Castrol CRB 10W-30
I'm considering Total, Mobil Delvac, Chevron Delo.

There is just so much oil to test
So far I have used
Chevron Delo 400le
Shell rimula R4
Total quartz 9000
Mobil 1 delvac
Royal purple
Amsoil marine diesel
Castrol CRB turbo
Castrol Hypuron

Still have to run
Amsoil signature series
Total Suv
Shell hx7
Shell ultra

For those who know that I have mentioned gas engine oils above. .. the Toyota manual calls for API CF which almost all gas engine oils meet.

I am due for an oil change this weekend and I am going back to Total quartz 9000. The crankcase currently has delo 400le.
I use NP or some other cheap oil to pour through the system when changing oil
