with the alarm you can arm/ disarm remotely (worldwide via phone call or SMS); theres a panic button on the remotes as well as in the vehicle; 3 point immobilizer; remote shut down; central lock automation; alarm reports for doors, engine, body (receive these reports anywhere globally! no 1 mile radius nonsense); search/ silent lock; remote alarm checking; speed alerts; movement alerts; radius breach alerts; remote sensitivity settings; alarm automatically triggers SMS and phone call in emergency...

Voice monitoring comes standard with this package. Alarm and GPS firmware are updated automatically and of course free of charge. If we add anymore features we will let you know.

redmanjp this means you can listen in to conversations in the vehicle by having the vehicle call you.

Ok...Big question here man....

I already have a viper system installed.. Its a good alarm... i got no worries of parking my car anywhere, its just the hold up situations i worry about, like stopping at KFC while leaving the car or returning and other places like Gas Stations and so on...

I see you got two packages, the alarm and personal tracker...TT $3000 and TT$2500

Do i have to purchase both or only one?

Cuz i was hoping to just buy the personal tracker only...

Or does buying the alarm for 3000 include the personal tracker?

I hope the system does not need both purchases to work properly, then it would cost me 5500 large.

Also, if the year warranty goes kaput, an the system starts malfunctioning there is no free replacement so i would either have to repair or re-install, rite?

What i really want to know, can i just buy the vehicle tracker only.. and the warranty issue...

psycostud666, good questions, I think we need to get the web developer to speed up the release on the new site!

The vehicle system with GPS, alarm, voice monitoring, remote immobilizer (works globally), installation and lots more features costs $3000.

The personal system which you walk around with costs $2500 (much of the same features of the vehicle system - minus the car alarm).

They both work stand alone so you don't need to spend on both, just one will be fine. It would be crazy for us to charge anything more than $3000!

In terms of the end of the warranty, we can repair the system for you if needed.

Hope this answers your questions, and just a note please remember we also offer
>24hr Armed Response
>24hr Roadside Assistance
>24hr Emergency Medical Response
with our systems!

Any further questions please feel free to call the office at (868) 299 4GPS.

Car was parked down due to owner being out of the country and money wasn't sent to the SIM, rendering it inactive. What's the procedure to fix this problem?

audiomaniac,
Simply call us and set an appointment for a SIM replacement. Please note you can top up from abroad.
For persons who are too busy to top up SIMs or fly often we recommend you take the SIM management /monitoring & security package.

Would this work on a Subaru legacy (one that has a factory immobiliser already)

and a primera that already has a viper installed?

Would you give me any sort of group discount if I bring multiple vehicles?
Would be
2007 Legacy GT
2005 Legacy GT
2000 Nissan Cefiero
1999 Nissan primera
200? Suzuki Grand Vitara
and possibly
2007 Mitsubishi Lancer
2010 Honda Civic

Last two are from the dealership
rest are RORO's

Will discuss with my friends when we can all come to demo, then will call you soon

Btw Your system is made by DEI? the company that makes viper?

Yes group discounts are available.
DEI makes the alarm boards (they make more than 90% of existing alarm boards around the world, they also have several own brands including Viper, Python, astroflex, clifford etc.)
GSM manf. by a subsidiary of Siemens mobile
GPS is the SirfIII chipset.

Sheriff, we are not associated with that site. We do however appreciate sharing the knowledge we have gained through our experience as it goes with our aim to help rid car thefts in Trinidad and Tobago. The more GaviTrak can help, the better. It is good to realise though, that even though they are trying to copy our information, and our products, we are still unmatched in terms of services for money. We are still the only car security company that offers
-> 24hr armed security
-> 24hr roadside assistance
-> 24hr emergency medical assistance
-> 24hr call centre support
-> free software for fleet vehicles
-> free alarm and voice monitoring with the GPS device
-> and many more...

Your unit can do remote shut down, but can it do remote START as well? (I am aware that one doesn't relate to the other in terms of hardware).

My current alarm has a built-in turbo timer. What will be the set-up if the current alarm has to be removed? Would I then need to install a standalone turbo timer? If so, how would your alarm work to arm the vehicle while the timer is running down?

Tired Accord, the unit does not do remote start, in terms of the installation and the turbo timer you can speak with a technician who can give more detail in that field. Call 299-4GPS and you can have your questions answered.

I have the alarm and a Greddy turbo timer. You can arm the vehicle and leave while the timer is running down.

I installed this system 3 weeks ago. Great support and excellent system. It's gives you peace of mind.

I didn't get a present though :oops:

Nonetheless, this is money well spent.

have you guys done installations on the vw jettas that have factory immobilizers?

Is it possible to install the tracker without actually tapping in to the vehicle's electronic system?That way you can still track the vehicle and call and listen in but can't shutdown or be alerted by the vehicle? Reason I'm asking is I want to get some peaco of mind without voiding the warranty on the vehicle....

If I sell my vehicle can I:

1. Transfer the same system to a new vehicle?

2. Transfer/configure the system for the new owner of the vehicle, e.g phone number/sim, new shutdown password. etc?

3. What are the associated costs with the above?

or do i have to purchase a new system for every new vehicle i purchase?

sayeed23, this system has several similarities to the tramigo system, they can both work y SMS or GPRS, they both give vehicle locations, they both are pretty good GPS based on the same hardware systems.

The differences are mainly in the use of the systems, the GaviTrak system is based mainly around security and recovery of vehicles. With this system you also receive a free alarm system and voice monitoring.

Please feel free to call the office and they would be more than happy to run through the ist of details and benefits of the GaviTrak system.
