Whats the best tyre to buy for the Nav in terms of performance and price tradeoff ?.....I mainly do Highway driving!!!

Checked two popular tyre shops and they are offering these options in 275 70 16....Just want some good advice because you know some of these shops tell you anything for a sale!

I've been using the Kumho KL78 about a year now, mostly highway driving...through wet or dry roads it handles very good, the tyres never skate on wet road to date. Have them on a 4x4 3.0 frontier with lsd diff though....not sure bout the d40 rear end.

275/70/16 Dunlop Grandtrek AT3 white writing, used on a Frontier mainly highway driving no complaints.

Pretty broad as well if you want the look.

Hi guys,
bought a Navara 2 mths ago and someone clipped my drivers wing mirror
Any options for replacement mirror or someone who can install just the mirror itself as the frame is fine.

Bless

Hey guys have a weird problem with my frontier zd30 recently after I drive the van for a while and say switch it off for 20 mins the van doesn't want to start back . When u turn the ignition the check engine light doesn't come on and the glow plug light just comes on for like 1 second . After an hour Orr if the van cools down it starts like normal ,, any ideas what could be the problem?

How often as in mileage or time wish do you guys end up changing the wheel hubs on the d40 Navara , especially guys pushing size 22 rims ? The bearings are difficult to change alone and there is risk of damage to the ABS lines.

Noob question here, do all the frontiers come with the cartridge type oil filter? Also do you need any special tool to remove it? Because I've heard stories of the housing breaking when trying to remove it. Thanks...

You will probably need a strap wrench they're not expensive if you can't undo it by hand use the wrench you will probably need it to put on the new one aswell or else you'll have an epic oil leak if it's not tight enough

pplz

recently bought a np300

i want to do my own basic service, as i'm used to tinkering in my old pickup and i miss tinkering
i was considering massy as well but i find it have to many horror stories and the price they charged me for a very basic 5k service i found was too high

what kind of oil and filters are recommended for these engines?

what is the difference bet maintaining a common rail turbo from a reg Direct injection non turbo?

ready to do 10K service

thanks

i'll read through this thread's entirety as soon as....

I don't knew if it is normal but when the van is hot and switched off near the radiator fluid reservoir I was hearing a hissing sound like the movement of steam. I noticed my pressurized radiator cap had a small chip and I bought a new one. I am still hearing the sound after a couple days and I will monitor the coolant levels. Can anyone say if this is a normal sound after the van is switched off and still hot. The sound is very soft but sometimes my senses are too sensitive for my own good

Yeah thanks guys , yeah I think I was losing a very small amount of water and noticed when I had to top up the reservoir but it was a minimal amount. I'm going to service in a week so I'll get it pressure tested. I changed the reservoir pressure cap but I think it was still making the same sound so I guess it's the hoses to check next leading to the reservoir container. I noticed a small amount of fluid from the little hose that acts as an overflow attached to the reservoir tank. I will take a pic later because I am wondering if the engine could be possibly over heating but the needle is normal
