Why didnt you black out the chrome reflector of the headlight yo?

And yes, I did it by him on a 2010 Ranger about a year ago - FANTASTIC!

Guy does great work, and excellent after sales service for any small problems (My grounds got filled with mud and had a short once, didnt realize that was the problem)

Recommend him real often.

Hilux Retrofit....

Postby Aaron 2NR » June 27th, 2012, 5:10 pm

I had projectors on my navara, civic and another vehicle and never had an issue. I got a ticket once for the led on my projectors a long time ago. Never got stopped for ccfl's etc...

The popo doo t really fuss for what lights u have on the front - they mostly look at the colour of the lights. You can get away with 4300k(stock yellow) and 5000k(white).... Anything beyond that is pushing it.

And to those who don't understand 4300k and 5000k isn't the level of brightness, its a measure of the colour. Those who like to put 6000k and 8000k on their hid's are using more bluish light - those colours are illegal.

Yeah I know what you mean. I did the Quad Retrofit at Trini Retrofits and was really impressed with the light output.
