If you are referring to the sound of the horn and it hasn't changed from the first day you used it. .. Nothing is wrong with the electronics. That's how it sounds by itself.
The second connector for the high pitch horn is there, just you don't get that horn with the 2.5 model.
Solution would be to get the high pitch button horn and just install it or.... buy a different horn setup and install it.
The Toyota connector looks fancy but it's a simple spade connector below the plastic.
From the day I heard it I ordered another set of horns and installed them

You can't really adjust the tone by tightening the screw in the back of the button. ...

Apparently I'm of the markby a long ways
As xplode said. .. spiral cable maybe

So i bought a pair of nze horns as the connectors are the same as the 2.5 lux. Which of the 2 wires of the existing horn do i splice the 2nd horn's single wire to?

Your question is a bit unclear... The factory horn only uses one wire with the ground being provided by the body of the horn via the mounting bolt.

There are two wires available from factory, just plug one into each horn and bolt it to the vehicle

So the factory horn connector has 2 wires going to the single horn. Where do i get the positive wire to the 2nd horn?

Ok, so i figured it out. The second jack was taped up on the existing loom. I seperated it and jacked it into the second horn. So... No more bread-van horn. Thanks for the help. Sounds just like the 3.0 horn now.
