Lets talk Ranger Issues

I believe the new model ranger is simply a wonderful machine. Its a couple generations ahead on every sphere. However, there seems to be quite a number of bugs which have not been fine tuned locally. I have two co-workers with these machines 2.2L MT and they have both had issues:

1. Turbo unit completely gone within 3 months of purchase.
2. AC compressor failed within 1 month.
3. Vehicle going into safe mode twice in 6 months.
4. Significant delay in throttle body response.

Are there any more issues that you guys are experiencing ?

I had my 3.2 abt 18 months.doing 26,000 km
absolutely no problems,well other than the dead battery syndrome and having to adjust rear drum brakes every 5000km,which i believe is a result of the Traction control and a heavy foot.

My unit however was built in Thailand,whereas Macearney units are built in South Africa.
I really hope that's why i have no complaints,and the issues are not accumulating to come all at once.
