Frontier axle and CV joint

Postby termite » November 22nd, 2014, 9:51 am

Has anyone changed their CV joint on their frontier.
How long did it last after changing the joint

My cv joint has been making noise for some time.
$7760 + vat for the axle at N&M

Substitute joint is $400 -$500

Original joints @200000kms with manual lock hubs and offroading in there.

do you have manual locking hubs? if so the cheaper route with less use could be a decent alternative . check ROC or other powersellers on the forum that would get the OEM to you at a fraction of the cost.

just be sure to pack it with grease before pulling back the boot over it
