loud cracking sound on L200 when 4x4 is engaged

guys I have a TBC L200, I am getting a loud cracking sound coming from either the front diff , transfer case or gearbox when the 4x4 is engaged, it is not the joints or the cross,i checked the transfer case and all seems well in there, though I think the chain is stretched a bit , any suggestions?

it is not the joints , getting the noise on the straight drive, but I change the joints anyway, same noise

check the oil in your diff, if it has check for metal filings

Turned out that the chain in the transfer case was streched
