2016 Toyota HiLux interior and exterior leaked

Images of the 2016 Toyota HiLux, the next-generation version of Australia’s top-selling light commercial, have been leaked ahead of the car’s reveal later this year.

The images, leaked by the Ferd fan page, confirm that our earlier posted images from last week are indeed the next-generation HiLux.

Anyone saw the new hilux at TTTL? It's coming with the 1kd instead of the 1gd, prob based on the diesel quality we have here? I saw a model with diff lock and push button start, however no projector headlights, drls, reverse camera etc

Saw it at TTTL.. It has tiptronic auto. Push to start on fully loaded models and smart key. Digital ac on full loaded models. No DVD. Aftermarket reverse cam using rear view mirror. Uses 1kd engine as gd engines are euro 5 spec and not rated for our poor diesel. No rear ac vents. Seats at rear upgraded to have 60/40 lift on base. No powered driver seat for full loaded auto. It has electronic 4wd on the fly and diff lock. Powered fold mirrors. Some nicer creature comfort features such as fold down hand rest rear with cupholder, low grip hand spaces and bigger handles for rear and a cool box in the dash. Also upgraded rotars front and 18" wheels with Michelin tyres for fully loaded and 17" wheels and Yokohama tyres for mid spec.
Mid spec was about 270 and fully loaded close to 290.

Think that's bout it... Not sure if I miss anything.

Leaf springs rear. Front looks pretty much the same. Overall the van looks and feels shorter tho. I think I saw the same skid plating under chassis.

The body is slightly wider and by extension the tray and interior space also.

It appears however a couple centimeters lower than the current model which translates to slightly less ground clearance.

Rides is pretty much the same as the current. Suspension looks the same. Bolt pattern on wheels also the same.

All in all, an aesthetically pleasing improvement on the current model.
