well in 2010 i was running a f22c engine with a t3 turbo bolted to it at 10psi which made 299whp with aem ecu

suspension is k sport coilovers all round and a welded diff
k sport 4 links
k sport panhard
traction bracket



in 2011 the turbo is comming off and im putting a set of cams and itbs for NA power hehe
plus the car shoulb be close to 900kg with me sitting in it when im done with it

but really, wait untill some tuners read this.

it's like telling them that cut springs are just as good as coil overs.
(they are not but you get the picture)


so have you ever try the LSD in order to confim that it's just as good as a welded diff?
reason i'm asking is because i have a project that once i import a LSD for it it will cost 6K average.
no reason spending that money and a welded diff will be cheaper.

yeah i ran a kaaz 2 way for the first 3 years with the 20valve setup its works great but when i started blowing up ring and pinions with 300hp i started welding the spider gears

basically it does the same thing as lsd ...your just sure that it locks all the time ....
the only drawback is for street driving at extremly low speeds while turning(5kmh)the tires screech

in the canadian drift series alot of drivers run welded diffs or spools

machine shop, here i come

umm moti, its a "track" car. so welded solid for his application, cant be beat. a tire will always slip.
for everyday driving however.....................

you mention at lower speeds on street, the tires screech. what happens at even higher speeds? 20km-60km/h turns / bends?

at higher speeds works fine just as LSD thanks for all the comments

its only welded as i couldn't get an LSD diff in time for the drift expo.
the NSD - non-slip diff at low speeds is okay, it drifts real nice but if u're not going full tilt and jus trying to drive out ur yard, the rear end feels like its going to be torn apart as u can feel the tension.
for me at higher speeds with 3300 lbs and 170hp it'll understeer but u won't really feel it unless u have driven with the normal open diff, unless ur really pushing it hard and lateral grip is at the limit....then she'll step out.
