Job Spec: PCMO (Passenger Car Motor Oil) Sales Representative for Valvoline Lubricants
General Summary: Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products

Reports directly to Sales & Marketing Manager

Core functions:
• Adhere to a route and schedule that ensure the entire assigned territory is effectively covered
• Identify and exploit new channel opportunities
• Sell the entire portfolio of products, ensuring every customer has the right mix of products on their shelves
• Become familiar with the portfolio of products, and understand the unique attributes and benefits of each
• Ensure adherence to credit and cash collection policies
• Be aware of competitive pricing, products and marketing activities and report back to marketing manager
• Submit weekly contact reports
• Identify sales and marketing opportunities and report back to management
Key Personal Attributes
• Must be self motivated
• Ability to function effectively and efficiently, even when unsupervised
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate initiative, and a willingness to learn
• Be able to represent the company in a professional manner

General Summary: Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within assigned territory by effectively selling the company’s products

Reports directly to Sales & Marketing Manager

Core functions:
• Adhere to a route and schedule that ensure the entire assigned territory is covered in a two week cycle
• Identify and exploit new channel opportunities
• Schedule meetings with key purchasing / decision making personnel
• Analyze customers’ needs and tailor proposals and presentations accordingly, maximizing the company’s mix of products
• Become familiar with the portfolio of products, and understand the unique attributes and benefits of each
• Ensure adherence to credit and cash collection policies
• Be aware of competitive pricing, products and marketing activities and report back to marketing manager
• Submit weekly contact reports
• Identify sales and marketing opportunities and report back to management
Key Personal Attributes
• Must be self motivated
• Ability to function effectively and efficiently, even when unsupervised
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Demonstrate initiative, and a willingness to learn

• Have at least a basic understanding of commercial equipment and diesel engines
